What can I expect from a domain setup session?

We’ll search for available domain names together, purchase them through Cloudflare without hidden markup fees, configure your DNS settings (for email and hosting), and secure your WHOIS privacy. You leave with full ownership and a fully configured domain.

Can we move my domain over from GoDaddy or another provider?

Yes. If you already own a domain elsewhere, we can transfer management over to Cloudflare to slash renewal costs and consolidate your setup.

Will transferring or updating my domain break my website or email?

No. We copy all existing DNS records over before initiating any transfers or changes, ensuring zero downtime for your live website or incoming emails.

Do I need to buy both .ca and .com domains?

It’s not strictly required, but it’s best practice if both are available. Owning both prevents competitors or domain squatters from using your name, and we can automatically forward visitors from one to the other.

How does a 45-minute session work?

It’s a live video call with screen sharing. I’ll walk you through purchasing or transferring the domain directly under your own account or I can handle all the technical DNS setup while you watch.
