I’m often asked

Do I actually own my website?

Yes, completely. The domain, hosting, and files are 100% yours. Take it elsewhere whenever you like. No lock-in, no cancellation fee, no holding your site hostage to keep you paying.

If you need ongoing support, I offer care plans to keep your website fast, secure, and always updated. You’ll still have admin access, but if you firetruck things up, putting out the fire is billed by the hour.

How fast can it be live?

It depends on the technology we use to build your website:

AI Starter Site: Fast and lightweight, live in as little as 72 hours.
Custom Build: Built from scratch, so it takes longer to do properly, but you get full flexibility for growth.

Do you write the copy, or do I?

I do, or you can, depending on your budget.

I’m a professional copywriter, so when I build, copy and design get refined together, not one handed off to the other. Every line has a job to do: hit a pain point, build trust, move someone toward a decision.

Or bring your own copy and I’ll design around it — you can add copywriting at a discounted rate as part of your build.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope, which is why there is a pricing page rather than one number here. If you want a proper opinion before committing to anything, book the $150 advice session.

How do I pay for my website?

Smaller builds are paid in full up front, which locks in your slot. For projects over $5,000, we split it — 60% to start and 40% at a milestone we agree on before the build begins.

In Canada, Interac e-Transfer is easiest. I also hold Wise accounts in US dollars and other currencies, so international clients can pay me in their own currency.

Want to pay by credit card? Load your Wise account with the balance and transfer from there.

Do I need a logo or domain already, or do you help with that?

Logo: Send whatever you’ve got — logo, photos, brand colours — and I’ll build around it. No logo? No problem. I’ll pair a font and colour palette that looks good. If you’ve got budget for a simple logo, bring it up on the intro call⁠.

Domain: I recommend Cloudflare. They sell domains at cost, and I use them to run much of my own digital infrastructure.

What is the revision window?

AI sites: 7 days post-launch — the build is simple, so changes are quick to spot and fix.
Custom builds: 14 days. Bigger, more complex sites that involve a team reviewing copy can request a longer revision period by signing up to a care plan⁠.
